The treasury
This page shows the treasury working. Every payment pays its fee into it, robots on our server collect the fees, and the treasury pays the gas that lets a recipient withdraw without holding any. No person sits in that loop.
01 Two wallets, kept apart
Pays gas for other people
Submits withdrawals on behalf of recipients, so the wallet that receives the money never appears as the one that asked for it. Holds only working gas.
Receives the fees
A wallet of its own, not a person's. The relayer key cannot reach it: whoever steals the key that pays gas does not get the fees.
02 How a fee travels
- The sender pays 1%, at least 0.1 of the token, as a separate note sealed to the treasury. The recipient gets the full amount.
- The fee note sits in the pool among everyone else's notes.
- The collector opens the notes addressed to the treasury every six hours, proves each withdrawal on our server and pays it out to the treasury wallet.
- The gas keeper tops up the relayer from the treasury when its gas runs low. On Arc gas is USDC, so the fees pay it directly. Elsewhere the treasury tops up from gas it holds; swapping fees into gas comes with mainnet liquidity — the testnets have none to swap against.
Today deposit amounts are public, so the fee on each payment can be read as it goes in. The confidential token that comes next hides amounts on the way in as well; from then on the treasury total says how much the protocol earns and nothing about who paid whom, or how much.
03 Fees that reached the treasury
Every fee note sealed to the treasury, found in the pools with the treasury's own key — on the EVM chains and on Solana. In the treasury — the note is there and only the treasury can open it. Collected — a robot has already paid it out to the treasury wallet.

05 What the robots did
Swept — fees the relayer took on the fixed-denomination pools, put back into a pool as a note to the treasury. Collected — a treasury note withdrawn to the treasury wallet. Gas — the relayer topped up from the treasury.
